#36alive 263: Practice These Eye Exercises

For thousands of years, eye exercises have been used in various natural health and wellbeing practices. From gazing at the sun to physically washing the eyes, they’re a part of the body that needs caring for just as much as everything else, yet we don’t often think of them until something goes wrong.

This week is National Eye Health Week, raising awareness about those who live with eye-related complications. Did you know that 2 million people in the UK are currently living with sight loss? Take care of yours with today’s exercises.

These eye exercises can be done anywhere, and help strengthen the muscles of the eye, as well as giving them some much needed time away from a screen! So, memorise these movements, turn away from your computer or smartphone for a moment, and give it a go!
