#36alive 38: Walking Meditation | Rectangle Breathing

Following on from yesterdays square breathing technique, today we are sharing a rectangle breathing technique as part of our ‘Walking Meditation Week’. To do this follow the steps  below.

How to:

Inhale 6 steps

Hold 3 steps

Exhale 6 steps

Hold 3 steps

Repeat

If these numbers don’t work then you can play around with them, just ensure that you inhale and exhale for the same number of steps, and this is a greater number than what you are holding for after each inhalation and exhalation. Watch the below Instagram video of me talking through this.
